I love that! What a great idea! My daughter is the same age and she also does the same thing (pretends not to know). She is in a half-day preschool, but, being a teacher, I wanted her to continue her learning at home. She is only now beginning to want to sit down and complete tasks (like puzzles). So maybe I'll try the alphabet flashcards again. She also loves charts and countdowns so I might just have to borrow your idea!
It is so frustrating when they pretend not to know! It has really bothered me that I can't get her to preschool, but it is what it is. As of today she knows all but two of her letters with the pictures and most of them with out the pictures. The next step is to just show her the uppercase and lowercase letters separate. Good luck with your little one! Hopefully she responds as well to the chart as Natalie did!
